Dingle to release the Alabama 3

BEO Binn, Dingle’s new musical and artistic collective, will release the Alabama 3 on a Kerry audience later this month.

The London group will perform an acoustic and unplugged set at the Hillgrove in Dingle on Friday, July 30, promising, a super night of entertainment.

Alabama 3 achieved global success as their offering, Woke Up this Morning, became a sensation as the theme tune of cult TV series The Sopranos.

A deal with Geffen followed and Alabama 3 have been touring ever since, enjoying a dedicated cult following of their own.

Alabama 3 in full on urban gangster mode and it will be accompanied by live visuals and graffiti artwork exhibition.

As regulars at all the major festivals, this is a major coup for Beo Binn, who enjoyed a supremely successful launch last month, welcoming superstar DJ BBC1s Gilles Peterson to Dingle.

This time around Beo Binn are promising a sensory overload and are calling on stencilers, graffiti artists and visual artists interested in taking part in the event to get in touch.

Alabama 3 is just one of a number of well known names unveiled by Beo Binn on their summer programme of events, next up at the Hillgrove is a gig with Offaly singer songwriter Mundy on July 16.

Mick Flannery with his full band will play the same stage on July 23, sharing the venue with a carved stone sculpture exhibition. O' Emperor will play there on Friday, August 20 amongst a clutter of bric-a-brac.
